How to deposit on Polymarket: crypto chains, minimums, pUSD and the US app
Polymarket converts any supported deposit into pUSD on Polygon. Which chains and tokens work, the minimum for each, what happens to large deposits, and how deposits work on the dollar-based Polymarket US app.

How you deposit depends on which Polymarket you use. On the global site, you send crypto from any of a dozen supported blockchains and Polymarket converts it automatically into pUSD, its dollar token on Polygon. On Polymarket US, the regulated app for Americans, you deposit dollars by card, bank transfer or wire, with no crypto involved.
Supported chains and minimums from Polymarket's documentation, October 2026. The list changes; the deposit screen shows the current one.
Depositing on the global site
- Open Deposit in your account.
- Choose the token and chain you are sending from. Polymarket gives you a deposit address unique to your account for that type of chain.
- Send the funds from your wallet or exchange to that address.
- The deposit is bridged and swapped to pUSD automatically and credited to your balance.
You can also send USDC directly on Polygon; it is wrapped into pUSD. pUSD is backed one-to-one by USDC and is what your balance and trades are held in.
Supported chains and minimums
| Chain | Minimum | Example tokens |
|---|---|---|
| Polygon | $2 | USDC, USDT, POL, DAI |
| Arbitrum, Base, Optimism | $2 | ETH, USDC, USDT |
| BNB Smart Chain | $2 | BNB, USDC, USDT |
| Solana | $2 | SOL, USDC, USDT |
| Ethereum | $7 | ETH, USDC, USDT, WBTC |
| Bitcoin | $9 | BTC |
| Tron | $9 | USDT |
Several newer chains (HyperEVM, Abstract, Monad and others) are supported too, mostly at $2. Deposits below the minimum may fail, so always check it first.
Deposits of more than $50,000
For large deposits from a chain other than Polygon, Polymarket recommends using a third-party bridge such as deBridge, Across or Portal to reduce slippage, sending to your Polygon USDC deposit address.
Mistakes to avoid
- Wrong chain: each address works only for its chain type; sending from an unsupported network can lose funds.
- Unsupported token: check the list before you send.
- Exchange withdrawals: pick the network that matches the address you were given.
Depositing on Polymarket US
Polymarket US works in dollars:

| Debit card (including Apple Pay) | Fastest way to start |
| Bank transfer (ACH) | Must clear before the money can be withdrawn |
| Wire | For larger amounts |
Some offers give new users trading credit after a first deposit (Polymarket invite and referral codes). How to get money back out: withdrawals.
