Yes, you can parlay on both. Kalshi launched multi-leg combos in September 2025, and Polymarket followed in 2026: first on its global site, then for regular users of the Polymarket US app in late summer. A parlay (combo) is one contract that pays $1 only if every leg wins.

How a combo works

Pick two or more outcomes, for example Team A wins, Team B wins and the total goes over. The combo trades as a single contract with its own price. If all legs win, it pays $1; if any leg loses, it pays $0.

Because every leg has to win, combos are cheap: a three-leg combo of 60% favourites is roughly 0.6 × 0.6 × 0.6 ≈ 22¢ before the platform's pricing. Prices are set on the order book by market makers, so they include a margin and may not equal the product of the legs.

Kalshi combos

  • Available on many sports markets, and some crypto markets.
  • Combos became one of Kalshi's fastest-growing products in 2026, a large share of its sports volume.
  • Normal Kalshi trading fees apply (how Kalshi works).

Polymarket parlays

  • The global site added parlays in June 2026, at the start of the World Cup.
  • Polymarket US certified parlays with the CFTC and opened them to app users in late August 2026.
  • Fees follow each platform's schedule (fees compared).

How often do parlays win?

Rarely. Data published on Kalshi's combos in 2026 showed the average combo priced at about a 9% chance, compared with over 40% for single markets, and during big events only a few percent of multi-leg contracts resolved "Yes". The math explains it: probabilities multiply, and every extra leg adds another chance to lose and another slice of margin.

When a combo can make sense

  • Correlated legs you believe the market underprices together (a team winning and its star scoring).
  • Small, fixed-size fun stakes where the payout ratio is the point.
  • Not as a way to "boost" an edge: if you have an edge on a single market, trading it alone is usually cheaper.

They sit inside the sports-contract dispute: several states argue that combos are exactly what a licensed sportsbook offers. Availability can differ by state; see is Kalshi legal in your state and is Polymarket legal in the US.

Parlays: frequently asked questions

Can you parlay on Polymarket?
Yes. The global site added parlays in June 2026 and the Polymarket US app opened them to regular users in late August 2026.

Can you parlay on Kalshi?
Yes, through combos, available since September 2025 on many sports and some crypto markets.

Can you sell a parlay before it finishes?
Yes, if there is a buyer on the order book; prices update as legs win or lose.

Why do parlays pay so much?
Because they rarely win: every leg must hit, and probabilities multiply.
